  • Alongside the other members of the team, ensure that the Carrier Management related components of the Broking strategy are delivered, always aligning to our core principle of acting in the best interests of our original clients.
  • Understand the organization structure, people, and reporting lines.
  • Build relationships throughout the organization and not just the distribution function.
  • Develop a deep and qualified understanding of business strategy, underwriting appetite, and capabilities.
  • Ensure the delivery of contractually committed services to carriers that are contained within our Carrier Services Agreements, whilst coordinating and collaborating with our global teams where appropriate.
  • Be the local focal point of our relationships with relevant carriers, internally and externally, plus lead or support the regional/global coordination as appropriate.
  • In conjunction with our Analytics teams, provide carriers with performance analytics and feedback, identify resulting opportunities and areas for improvement, and build these into our agreements.
  • Support the development of our Carrier Management value proposition, alongside supporting innovation in products, services, and propositions more broadly - both internally and to carriers as part of the services provided.
  • Support aspects of and support the sales activities related to our Carrier Service Agreements - whether new sales, renewal of existing agreements, or cross-sell of WTW services.
  • Act as an early warning system - recognized both internally and within the client to be the person of contact to deal with escalation, claims issues, and strategic placement changes.
  • Advocate for helping the client navigate WTW, understand structure and strategy including growth/sales strategy.
  • Promote greater knowledge sharing and awareness internally of the client's overall relationship, trends, activities with WTW.
  • Ability to use MI to identify trends and act on these in the interest of the client.

Principal Accountabilities

Qualifications
  • Preferably educated to A levels with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Preferably with professional qualifications of ACII or working towards this.
Skills:
  • Intermediate level IT skills (Microsoft Office suite).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance and underwriting in order to deal effectively with client needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and insurers and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, able to represent BU and the wider Willis Group with a high level of credibility.
  • Excellent client focus with proven experience of delivery of high levels of client service.
  • Ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions.
  • Good understanding of the processes that support the operating model and strategy for the BU and Willis GB overall.
  • Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery.
  • Intermediate level of data analysis and presentation skills.
