Interim Commercial Contracts Lawyer

My client, a leading Private Equity construction group, is seeking an Interim Commercial Contracts Lawyer based at their offices in Potters Bar.

This Private Equity backed client, whose Head Office is in Potters Bar, is a key partner in the construction and infrastructure space, predominantly within telecommunications and digital infrastructure.

As an Interim Commercial Contracts Lawyer, working closely with the senior Directors, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and negotiating client contracts (Pre-Contract), including PCSA, NEC, JCT, FIDIC & LOI's.
• Reviewing and negotiating Adoption Agreements with IDNO's.
• Reviewing draft Wayleaves, Indemnities & Easements.
• Liaising with Insurers to get Performance Bonds and Advance Payment Bonds agreed.
• Leading conversations with Banks to get Standby Letters of Credit in place for Bonds.
• Supporting the management of the Legal Team.
• Assisting with any post-contract contractual issues.
• Managing the relationship with external Counsel, including those in Germany and UAE.

The most desirable Interim Commercial Contracts Lawyer applicant will:

• Be a qualified legal professional in the UK with significant post-qualification experience.
• Have demonstrable experience in commercial law.
• Ideally possess a working knowledge of the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Be able to be present in the Potters Bar office 4 days per week.

A daily rate of between £750 - £950 per day.
