Our client is a not for profit organisation who provides both social housing and supported living accommodation.

Job Description

  • Leading the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial health.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Managing risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the executive team with strategic decision-making.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure value for money and strong financial governance.
  • Lead and manage the accounting & finance department.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies.
  • Reviewing all processes and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Finance Director should have:

  • Qualified accountant.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director within the social housing sector.
  • Experience of reporting and presenting complex information to Boards or Committees.
  • Experience of strategic finance, business planning, and cost analysis.
  • Evidence of developing processes and procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Experience of performance improvement, quality assurance, risk management, and value for money improvement.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

What's on Offer

  • £550 - £650 a day.
  • Hybrid role - 2 days on site.
  • 3-6 month role.
