Job Description
Preparation of the following
o Management accounts with commentaries
o Budgets
o Forecasts
o Accounting policies and procedures
o Statutory accounts
o Cashflow forecast and reporting
o Payroll accounting
Development and implementation of data quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy of data and financial controls
Management and development of the UK finance team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis
Collect and analyse data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions
Create and maintain reports to track key information and identify trends
The Successful Applicant
A successful UK Financial Controller should have:
- Full accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong knowledge of financial laws and management
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
- Experience with financial software and MS Office
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data
