Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of FP&A to join our client's Accounting & Finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is essential in driving financial planning and analysis within our not-for-profit organisation.

Our client is a prestigious, not-for-profit organisation in the education sector based in Oxford. As a large and influential entity, their work contributes towards beneficial societal change. They have a substantial team and are known for fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Description

  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks
  • Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems
  • Prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
  • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper management
  • Supervise the Accounting & Finance department to ensure the accurate and timely financial management
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Ensure all departmental decisions and project plans are in line with the company budget and business plan
  • Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies

Profile

A successful Head of FP&A should have:

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Proven experience as Head of FP&A in a large organisation with consolidations experience.
  • Experience of cash flow forecasting and board level reporting.
  • UK Right to Work
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary, ranging from £55,000 to £60,000
