Interim Health & Safety Manager

Bradford / Leeds / Huddersfield / Halifax

3 - 6-month contract / Outside IR35 Limited Co.

£350.00p/d - £400.00p/d

Capital equipment / Food / Process / FMCG / Production machinery

I am recruiting for a world leading food manufacturer who require are in the market for an Interim Health & Safety Manager to join their business for a minimum 3-6-month contract. They are looking for someone to start immediately on their site based in West Yorkshire.

For the position of Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will be required to conduct the following daily duties:

  • Managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities
  • Apply relevant technical guidance to control hazards and potential risks
  • Respond to incidents, report KPI's
  • Report to H&S Director and executive team daily
  • Facilitate a risk assessment programme for continuous review
  • Maintain database, monitor trends and improvement opportunities

The successful Interim Health & Safety Manager will need to have the following attributes:

  • Strong track record within H&S in Food and/or Beverage
  • Mechanical background - conveyors, baggers, packers, palletisers, hoppers
  • Ability to interact with and manage internal and external labour
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
