Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies within the ESG framework.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and handle contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Drive improvements in sustainability and social responsibility through procurement practices.
- Manage and mentor a small procurement team.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance and ESG metrics.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in the Not For Profit sector and procurement practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Lead - ESG should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Procurement, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a procurement role, preferably within the Not For Profit sector.
- Knowledge of ESG principles and their application in procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Experience leading a team and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
