Permanent - up to £90,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Hybrid working - x2 days per week in office (Canary Wharf)

Spencer Rose are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the lookout for an Internal Audit Security Specialist based in London, but offer flexible hybrid working. Within this role, the Internal Audit Security Specialist will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement within Internal Audit and play a leading role on department improvement initiatives.

The Internal Audit Security Specialist will have the following responsibilities -

• Provide validation to confirm management's remediation of audit and regulatory issues.
• Heavily involved in the execution of planning and testing for technology, information security audits and high-level reviews, which will include designing test strategies and audit test papers.
• Actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of audit practices and methodology
• To monitor strategic developments within the business to highlight any unidentified risks or potential control issues.

The Internal Audit Security Specialist will need to have the following skills/experience -

• Must have experience working within Internal Audit within a Financial Services environment with auditing experience across the IT space.
• Previous background working across security and technology risk frameworks like ISO27k, NIST, CIS Critical Security Controls and COBIT
• Previous knowledge or experience of security domains spanning across Access management, Threat management, Incident response and recovery, Data protection, Vulnerability management and Security risk management and governance
