The Opportunity
As an IT Infrastructure and Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery and management of IT infrastructure across multiple global locations. You will lead a team responsible for ensuring 24/7 service availability, managing cloud and on-premises hosting solutions, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the success of the infrastructure services. You will also drive technology adoption and continuous improvements across IT systems to support business goals and operational efficiency.

What's required of the IT Infrastructure and Operations Lead?

1. Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure services, including data centres, cloud (Azure, AWS), and network operations
2. Strong leadership experience with global IT teams
3. Experience in managing 24/7 IT operations with a focus on service availability and performance
4. Expertise in disaster recovery planning, testing, and risk management
5. Hands-on experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
6. Knowledge of security standards and practices, with a focus on ensuring compliance across IT services
7. Familiarity with vendor management and outsourced service provider oversight
