Job Description

Role: Java AWS Tech Lead

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the development team by providing technical direction and guidance for end-to-end tech delivery.
  2. Participate in security meetings and lead the presentation of technical solutions in architectural forums.
  3. Build high-performance, scalable, and robust applications.
  4. Research, evaluate, and recommend new industry-standard processes and tools to enhance development capabilities.
  5. Mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to software quality standards and engaging in code reviews.
  6. Participate in incident awareness and support handling.

Required Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of Java (core and framework), Spring Framework (MVC/Batch), Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Tomcat, Hibernate, Git, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
  2. Deep hands-on expertise with SOA, Microservices, REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON/XML, and database concepts, along with working knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedures, XQuery, and XML Query.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle, Oracle Coherence, Mule, Solace, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development/project environment.
