Java Production Support Engineer - L3 | Belfast | Hybrid

About the Role:

We are seeking a Java Production Support Engineer (L3) to provide Level 3 support for Trade Surveillance Case Managers and associated products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Oracle, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaSpark, and HIVE. You will work independently and collaboratively to diagnose, investigate, and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for Trade Surveillance applications
• Work with L1 & L3 teams to triage and resolve production issues
• Communicate issues and remediation plans in daily standups
• Independently resolve production issues and monitor data pipeline flows
• Collaborate with development teams for complex issue resolution
• Ensure runbooks are updated and actionable
• Provide insights to improve production stability

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Problem-Solving & Communication Skills
• Java Production Support/Deployment Experience
• Understanding of Web Applications & Data Pipelines
• Experience with Case Management & Financial Markets
