Midweight Delivery Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) - £35,000

Location: Bath (Hybrid, with occasional office visits)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Midweight Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for delivering client-focused projects in a fast-paced environment, managing tactical day-to-day projects valued between £20k and £50k.

About the Role

As a Midweight Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by overseeing governance, client communications, team collaboration, resourcing, and basic commercial tasks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging Agile methodologies to drive predictable and repeatable project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, and workshops) to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain clear communication, produce status reports, and manage risks and dependencies.
• Support project initiation, discovery, implementation, and closure activities using standardized tools and templates.
• Ensure robust project governance, including RAID logs, burndown charts, and milestone trackers.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver pre-go-live testing, launch readiness, and post-implementation reviews.

Essential Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a client-focused delivery role (eg, Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Account Manager).
• Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery practices, with the flexibility to adapt to Waterfall or hybrid models.
• Experience with delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheets.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, reporting, and risk management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
