Job Description

The Junior HR Business Partner will provide comprehensive support in the delivery of People support to a dedicated business area, assisting in the implementation of the Group People Strategy and initiatives. They will work closely with People Team Centre of Excellences (CoE's) and partner business stakeholders to ensure People initiatives are implemented effectively, driving alignment with functional areas goals and enhancing the colleague experience. This role will have flexibility to move across business areas to support the People Team and business where needed.

What you'll be doing

Collaboration with Centres of Excellence:

  1. Partner with the People Team's CoEs to implement People initiatives across the business, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.
  2. Work with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment processes, including job design, candidate sourcing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and new colleagues.
  3. Collaborate with the Learning and Development CoE to identify skill gaps, assist in creating tailored development plans, and coordinate training sessions to upskill colleagues.
  4. Support the Reward and Benefits CoE in the roll-out of overall reward and benefits strategies, ensuring these are understood and aligned with colleague needs.

Employee Relations & Support:

  1. Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, working with the Employee Relations CoE to resolve complex employee issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  2. Help line managers address performance-related issues by providing coaching and supporting the implementation of performance improvement plans.

HR Data & Reporting:

  1. Support HR data collection and analysis in partnership with the CoEs, helping to generate insights into workforce trends and enabling data-driven decision-making.
  2. Assist in preparing regular reports on key HR metrics (such as turnover, engagement, and performance) for business stakeholders.

Change Management & Organisational Development:

  1. Assist in supporting change management initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation of organisational changes, and facilitating communication with colleagues.
  2. Support business transformation, culture initiatives, and colleague engagement surveys to improve the colleague experience.
  3. Collaborate with CoEs to develop and implement initiatives that improve employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention.
  4. Support the execution of employee feedback surveys and assist in analysing results to recommend action plans for improvement.
  5. Assist with HR communications, including internal announcements, policy updates, and employee engagement initiatives.
