We are looking for two Key Account Directors to join Capita Pensions Solutions (CPS) and support a portfolio of our DB Pensions key accounts in the private sector.
You will be accountable for partnering and developing those accounts and be responsible for looking at strategic and transactional engagement throughout the life cycle of the contract, fostering strong partnerships, improving client satisfaction and their experience.
You will support CPS with its digital roadmap and global delivery model aspirations through effective communication to clients and successful buy-in to all CPS continuous improvement propositions.
With one direct report, you will also be responsible for identifying and developing upsell and cross-selling opportunities by aligning capability of CPS or the wider business where appropriate.
Job DescriptionOther Responsibilities include:
- Consider and review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, processes, and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery.
- Support operations through active and accountable client management, communicating operational changes to clients and gaining buy-in/permission where required.
- Ensure that management of and delivery of all services to clients is carried out effectively and that propositions to grow these clients are successfully taken to clients as relevant.
- Delivery of agreed client and contractual expectations and obligations. Highly confidential. For internal use only. Not to be reproduced or shared without permission.
- Ownership/Management of Change Control Notes or Letters of Variation for tasks completed outside of the contract.
- Oversight and approval of invoicing as per the contract and the services provided.
- Support client strategy (short & long term) ensuring all clients have account plans relevant to the client that are regularly reviewed (at least every month) to identify further opportunities.
- Lead client meetings, ensuring papers are issued in a timely fashion and in the agreed format.
- Lead on instructions of services into the delivery team, including any decisions or actions from client meetings and follow through to completion.
- Lead on rebids and extensions for relevant clients, ensuring these are managed in a timely fashion and in accordance with Capita's governance process.
- Lead on Contract Review Committees / Product Review Committees for own clients and any new clients (as applicable).
- Lead on and actively manage and resolve claims and commercial issues.
- Maximise opportunities for upsell, cross-sell or project revenue across individual client portfolio, introducing appropriate practice subject matter experts to develop and land these opportunities successfully.
What are we looking for:
- An experienced Account Director that has worked in the financial services, outsourcing, or other regulated sector.
- Experience of private sector accounts.
- Experience of working on a portfolio of accounts.
- Understand the importance and deliver against individual objectives and to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and business results.
- Participate in and promote good team communication and share knowledge and expertise with other team members.
- Solid understanding of commercial pricing models to ensure revenue growth and maintain CPS profitability targets.
