Lab Technican contract - networking lab equipment

Contract role - 4 months initial ( Outside IR35 )

• Support and Maintain Physical Lab infrastructure - lab racking, cabling, ESD bonding and test equipment and other infrastructure.
• Provide local assistance with test infrastructure to remote based teams.
• Coordinating the calibration schedule of specialist test equipment.
• Coordinating the PAT and other compliance testing of all electrical equipment
• curation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of lab equipment assets
• Support the engineering team with the creation and maintenance of test systems.

• Including the physical set up, provisioning and maintenance of client machines (eg PC, Raspberry Pi) running a variety of host operating systems (Linux and Windows).

• Networking equipment (eg Managed Switches and Routers).

• Devices under test.

• Specialist test equipment.

• IP Networking - basic understanding of LAN and WAN networking.

• Working experience of Linux highly advantageous.
