Job Description
I am currently recruiting for a Lead Category Manager for a public sector-based organisation in Surrey. It's an exciting time to be joining the business where you can really make an impact.
3 days on-site and 2 from home.
Role OverviewThis is a role for an experienced Lead Category Manager who will come in to lead specific strategic sourcing and category-related initiatives for defined projects impacting all stages of the Procurement life cycle for a number of business organisations.
Responsibilities- Lead a portfolio of category initiatives ensuring contract compliance.
- Implement sustainable cost improvements.
- Deliver a range of benefits associated with the procurement of Category services and products.
- Work closely with procurement teams to ensure cohesive strategies in the delivery of products and services.
Looking for someone with CIPS level 5 or higher or equivalent, and good category management experience gained within the public sector or NHS.
