Job Description

The Job Mission
You will play a crucial role in the Sizewell C project, supporting the delivery of the civil scope for nuclear power plants and ensuring seamless collaboration with external suppliers. Your expertise will uphold safety and regulatory standards while addressing complex design challenges. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, with three days in either our London or Bristol office and two days working from home.

  • Support the development and agreement of contract packages.
  • Create and amend technical specifications and delivery documents for civil scope.
  • Engage with contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Review tender documents and coordinate technical reviews.
  • Perform surveillance and approval of contractor deliverables and design activities.
  • Lead contract technical and project meetings to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage technical specialists to review deliverables and resolve issues.
  • Review and approve contract amendments and exemptions.
  • Liaise with RD and client teams for seamless integration with interfacing functions.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to support contract delivery.
My Profile

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, particularly in site environments.
  • Experience managing multi-discipline EPCM projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, programming, and EVM tools.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams, budgets, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations and Nuclear Site License requirements.
  • Experience in the UK nuclear sector.
  • Understanding of nuclear processing regulations.
  • Experience in technical management of supply contracts and contract forms.
