Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for two Lead Maintenance Engineers (electrician or mechanical engineer bias) to join a dedicated maintenance and engineering team working on a blue-chip estates account. Based out of the Manchester client site, there may be travel to other estates.
The role is a permanent position, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. Basic salary is £43,000 - £45,000. Transport and expenses options are available.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Lead Engineer on a maintenance team delivering technical planned and reactive maintenance within several prestigious facilities and estates
2. PPM and reactive maintenance across building services plant
3. Lead the maintenance team
4. Complete compliance paperwork
5. Oversee sub-contractors on site
6. Providing hands-on and supervisory duties to:
7. Lighting and emergency lighting
8. Compliance checks
9. Ensure all tasks are risk assessed through site-specific or dynamic risk assessments
10. Monitor the BMS
11. Continuously review the systems and identify areas for improvement and energy reduction
12. Diagnose faults effectively and make good whenever possible
13. Electrical maintenance and/or Mechanical, HVAC and general plant room (dependent on qualifications)
14. Small works
15. Lifecycle projects

Requirements:

1. Qualified Engineer - either Electrical L3 or Mechanical / HVAC Engineering
2. Experience of PPM and reactive maintenance works
3. Experience of lead or supervisory works
4. Experience of RAMS, permits, etc.
5. Plant room experience
6. Client facing
7. Valid driving license
8. Able to clear security check
