The Lead Project Manager(s) for the BBC's Generative AI Programme will play a pivotal role in delivering the BBC's ambitious plans for Generative AI. These roles will be responsible for leading key projects that ensure the BBC makes best use of Generative AI to deliver value to our audiences and staff.
ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities may be spread across multiple roles, but all roles will need strong planning, delivery, prioritisation and communication skills:
- Project manage the development and delivery of the BBC's Generative AI staff engagement activity.
- Project manage the BBC's AI literacy activities.
- Work closely with the BBC's partnership, commercial and policy teams.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging policies, and competitive pressures.
- Work closely with the Head of Generative AI Hub to prioritise and accelerate projects.
• Proven experience in project management within a complex organisation, preferably in media, technology, or innovation-led environments.
• Strong organisational, planning, and delivery skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in transformation and innovation, particularly in applying new technologies.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and emerging media technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
