Introduction:
The Lead Project Manager(s) for the BBC's Generative AI Programme will play a pivotal role in delivering the BBC's ambitious plans for Generative AI. Key activities include staff engagement, AI literacy, supporting external engagement, and managing the innovation pipeline.
Responsibilities:
• Project manage the development and delivery of the BBC's Generative AI staff engagement activity.
• Project manage the BBC's AI literacy activities.
• Work closely with the BBC's partnership, commercial and policy teams.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging policies, and competitive pressures.
• Work closely with the Head of Generative AI Hub to prioritize and accelerate impactful projects.
Are you the right candidate?
• Proven experience in project management within a complex organisation, preferably in media or technology.
• Strong organisational, planning, and delivery skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in transformation and innovation, particularly in applying new technologies.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and emerging media technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
