Job Description

As a Lead QA Analyst, you will work with a QA manager, other QA analysts and QA automators to establish the overall testing and quality strategy & execution and will work within one or more agile teams.

Structure the strategy, processes and quality tools

  • In collaboration with QA manager drive Testing Strategy definition, setting up related processes and procedures
  • Execute Testing strategy by helping the teams to adopt new processes, tracking processes follow up, propose and implement process improvements
  • Define key QA metrics, build the dashboard and do regular reporting on quality of the product

Ensure the overall quality of the product

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Leader in functional and non-functional requirements analyses
  • Participate in grooming sessions and plan new features testing campaigns in advance
  • Perform manually system and integration testing, analyse results of automated testing and report on findings
  • Be part of release management processes by performing release acceptance testing and reporting on release quality status

Structure regression testing

  • Maintain test repository up-to-date by creating and reviewing new test cases and revisioning existing ones
  • Closely collaborate with QA automation engineers and developers on overall testing automation strategy
  • Provide clear requirements for testing automation by adapting manual tests cases
  • Define test coverage tools and metrics and conduct regular reviews

Contribute to continuous improvement

  • Support the technical team on good practices in terms of quality assurance in software development

Preferred Experience

To be considered for this position, the following skills have to be obvious on your education / experiences:

You have around 5/6 years of experience in software testing and quality, in a cloud company.

You have good communication and interpersonal skills that you will use to build a close relationship with internal stakeholders.

You have an entrepreneurial attitude and can combine hands-on assignments with strategic thinking.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

You have a good understanding of the industry software quality practices.

You have good documentation and organization skills.

You have a strong work-ethic and autonomy.

You provide attention to detail and can understand technical issues even if you are not an expert.

You are rigorous and know how to adapt yourself in an agile environment.

You are fluent in both English & French.
