Learning & Development Consultant - Empowering Claims Excellence
Are you a passionate Learning and Development Consultant who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment? We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to provide expert advice and recommendations on blended learning solutions, activities, and assessments to support Insurance Claims learning and development activity. You'll work closely with other Claims Learning and Development Consultants, SMEs, and relevant claims stakeholders to ensure training is aligned with relevant claims role learning outcomes and business transformation, while delivering exceptional service to internal/external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scope and plan new learning solutions to support learning and development within the Insurance Claims business, including identifying the most suitable learning methodology.
- Use instructional design models (ADDIE or SAM) and best practices to create impactful and engaging learning experiences.
- Contribute to team business plans, initiatives, and reports to meet the company objectives, within budget and agreed timeframes.
- Ensure compliance and training key performance indicators related to Claims are met.
- Collaborate with other RAA Group Learning and Development teams and attend communities of practice forums to leverage existing internal knowledge and align to RAA-wide Learning and Development and quality initiatives.
- Regularly review and refresh existing Claims learning content in line with Claims L&D review standards.
- Undertake administration tasks when needed and as directed by the Manager.
What We're Looking For:
You are an experienced Learning & Development Consultant with a passion for transferring knowledge and empowering teams to reach their full potential. You excel in dynamic environments, and your style inspires confidence and collaboration. You thrive on solving challenges and process improvement in a team environment. We're seeking:
- Expert in utilizing adult learning principles and practices that promote knowledge retention and skills development.
- Highly skilled in Articulate Storyline 360 (mandatory) and building digital learning including simulations.
- Experience using Vyond or Camtasia to build and produce instructional videos. Strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple learning initiatives whilst balancing priorities.
- Knowledge of instructional design and learning content creation (online, face to face, video and self-paced).
- Demonstrated experience in a Learning/Instructional Designer role or similar and in working with instructional technology.
