Job Description

Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor - Manchester City Centre


The Firm:

  2. Provides a full range of services

The Role:

The role is varied and will involve:

  1. Lease extensions - negotiated or statutory
  2. Purchase and sale of freehold of leasehold blocks of flats - pursuant to collective enfranchisement, or 'right of first refusal' under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987
  3. Right to manage claims
  4. Drafting new leases
  5. Deeds of Variation to leases
  6. Licence for alterations
  7. Licence to assign

Requirements:

  1. You will be a Residential Property Solicitor/legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Fee Earner specialising in leasehold enfranchisement
  2. Drive and enthusiasm to be part of a growing firm
  3. Excellent client care and communication skills
  4. Initiative and evidence of working pro-actively
  5. Excellent attention to detail
  6. Ability to organise and prioritise their workload effectively
  7. A commercial understanding and outlook
  8. An interest in business development, and growing this area of work
