Our client is a global Investment Bank based in the city with offices around the world.
They have just recently engaged with Barclay Simpson to identify a key legal hire in their team.
This lawyer, an experienced legal counsel, will join at the VP level and will sit in the wider Sales and Trading legal team which provides legal advice and support to the Rates, Foreign Exchange (FX), Credit, Emerging Markets, Listed & Clearing and other business lines within the Investment Bank.
The focus of this role will be primarily on support for the Metals Business within the Foreign Exchange (FX) Business (covering both precious and base metals).
The ideal candidate will be coming from a strong private practice outfit or investment bank. PQE for ideal candidates will be in the 3-7 range but of course candidates on either side of this banding will also be considered.
This is a part of the Investment Bank that continues to perform at a very high level even when others have been struggling in this space.
You will have exposure to some very interesting matters from day one and will be working with some vastly experienced lawyers in this space who are there to help you develop as a lawyer both technically and commercially.
