Locum GP required for a UCC Contract in Middlesex

NIGHTS, DAYS AND LONG DAYS AVAILABLE

Dream Medical is seeking Locum GPs with a passion for fast-paced treatment to undertake ongoing rotas with an esteemed client of ours in Middlesex.

Working in a purpose-built Urgent Care Centre which is open 365 days a year, you will join a team of clinicians at the forefront of Urgent Care in Middlesex.

We are looking for a locum GP interested in doing both UCC shifts and OOH shifts at the town centre Hospital site, within walking distance of a mainline Train Station.

Alongside colleagues at the UCC, there is a strong community team that supports the service daily.

This role involves:

1. Undertaking duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing prescriptions, and managing queries and paperwork.
2. Making professional, autonomous decisions.
3. Assessing healthcare needs, screening for disease risks, and developing treatment plans.
4. Providing counselling and health education.
5. Referring patients to other care providers as needed.
6. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes.
7. Supporting clinical governance and working with the Senior Management Team.
8. Compiling and issuing prescriptions.
9. Providing clinical supervision to team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Full and current GMC registration on the GP Register.
• MRCGP or working towards it.
• Excellent command of English.
• Experience in general practice and knowledge of NHS and clinical governance.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• A valid driving licence and own car (for occasional business mileage).
