Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

A leading advisory platform with an established presence across the Benelux region is looking to appoint a highly driven Analyst or Junior Associate to join its M&A team in Brussels (Hybrid model). The team operates at the heart of cross-border mid-market M&A, advising a diverse client base that includes corporates, private equity funds, family offices, and entrepreneurs. With a strong pipeline of active mandates, the platform offers broad sector exposure, hands-on involvement in live transactions, and direct access to senior dealmakers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including preparation of marketing materials, buyer/seller engagement, valuation work, and transaction process management
- Support deal origination by preparing sector and company analyses, identifying potential targets or investors, and developing pitch materials
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models and perform valuation analyses using DCF, trading and transaction comparables, and LBO methodologies
- Collaborate closely with senior team members and external advisors across legal, tax, accounting, and commercial workstreams to ensure seamless deal execution
- Conduct detailed industry research and monitor market developments to support strategic thinking and identify new business opportunities
Candidate Profile:
- 1-3 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or a related corporate finance setting, ideally gained within a reputable advisory firm or financial institution
- Demonstrated experience in executing or supporting complex, cross-border M&A transactions
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with a rigorous attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality deliverables under tight timelines
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with internal stakeholders, clients, and counterparties in an international setting
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French; fluency in both is strongly preferred given the regional scope of the role
- Strong commercial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning and professional development
- Prior experience in the Belgian market or a clear motivation to relocate or return to Brussels
