CENTRAL LONDON HYBRID (3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 DAYS HOME)

£55,000 - £65,000 + BENEFITS + STUDY

THE COMPANY:

We're exclusively partnering with a highly successful and fast-growing £14m Turnover business based in Central London that is seeking an experienced & dynamic Management Accountant to join the team.

As the Management Accountant, you'll be leading the month end process and producing full management accounts for the 3 subsidiaries and a group consolidated set, including full commentary, analysis and actionable insights. Providing Finance Business Partner support to the SLT and implementing weekly financial / business performance flash reports.

This role requires an experienced (ideally qualified) Management Accountant that is dynamic and has a forward-thinking mindset, that can throw themselves into the high-level tasks, but is also not afraid to muck in and assist with reconciliation / ledger work during the busy month-end process.

THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• As a Management Accountant, you'll be reporting to the Head of Finance whilst directly collaborating with the Board of Directors/Shareholders and the wider Senior Leadership Team.
• Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including full commentary (currently WD5, Aiming to Improve to WD3)
• With ad-hoc support from the 2 Accounts Assistant's, responsible for the month end cycle including conducting full balance sheet reconciliation including journals, pre-payments, accruals and updating fixed Asset Registers
• Producing accurate monthly and quarterly budgets & sales forecasts in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
• Cashflow Reporting, Analysis and Forecasting
• Producing detailed Management Information Reports and Board Packs
• Building and enhancing relationships with colleagues inside and outside of the finance function to improve financial understanding and to encourage data driven decisions.
• Implementing weekly financial flash reports for the Senior Leadership team
• Reviewing and implementing robust budgeting processes to improve accuracy.
• Extracting data from financial and non-financial systems to produce accurate reports and recommendations.
• Conducting in-depth analysis into Costs, Margins, Trends and Budgets
• Using analysis insights to produce reports/recommendations to influence key decisions.
• Assisting with producing financial models as and when required.
• Reviewing processes/systems & Identifying process efficiencies to ensure business scalability and to improve profitability.
• Prepared to get stuck in support with general finance tasks including ledger work when required
• Involved in a future systems upgrade / migration to improve financial reporting

THE PERSON:

• Must have experience in a Management Accountant role or similar role, such as a Finance Business Partner
• Ideally CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified, however, exceptional Part Qualified, Finalists or QBE / Qualified by Experience will be considered as experience & attitude is more important
• Experience of producing Monthly Management Accounts, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Competent with MS Excel to an Advanced Level with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis.
• Excellent communicator with drive, confidence, initiative and commercially minded
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce financial models.
• Flexible team player with a 'can do' attitude is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to non-financial professionals
• Experience of implementing new processes, procedures and controls
• A technically savvy individual who would be able to assist with future systems upgrades/migrations
• Exposure/Experience or demonstrating the ability to perform Finance Business Partner tasks.
