Amazon's EU Authoritative Selection team is looking for a Manager to support the growth of high CX incremental selection from top-tier brands, introduce new policies and optimize processes to increase brand and seller trust while ensuring best-in-class customer experience. This role requires sound business judgment, data-driven decision making and an ability to think strategically. You will work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment, handling complex issues to execute the program's roadmap. An expert collaborator and individual contributor, you will be negotiating with key business partners including Retail and Selling Partner teams to ensure a world-class delivery of the plan to gain alignment on program implementation, optimization and adoption.
This role is for you if - You are independent and flexible with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are customer obsessed and have extensive experience working with data, especially with respect to mechanisms for goal tracking and stakeholder coordination. You have a tendency to dive-deep and cover edge cases in identifying problems and developing solutions. You have strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
This role can be based from one of our corporate office locations in Luxembourg, London, Milan, Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Paris.
Key job responsibilities- Analyze authoritative selection requests, identifying requests that will drive best-in-class CX, total store business and selection while maintaining the balance between CX and SX. Use this analysis and partner with category teams to drive a path to green to unlock marquee holdout brands.
- Analysis and reporting of end-to-end customer experience and leveraging CX insights on gated brands to ensure best-in-class CX.
- Partner with Category, Legal and WW authoritative selection teams to drive scalable improvements on policy, process and mechanisms on this workstream.
- Defining rules and metrics that govern the short and long term growth of different categories.
- Managing multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills.
- Defining, monitoring and reporting control mechanisms and KPIs across multiple marketplaces.
The Authoritative Selection (AS) Gating team works on holdout gating projects to negotiate full selection directly from a Brand which is currently not on our stores (aka "Holdout"). The team is responsible for evaluation of new AS gating requests, implementing AS Gating agreements on Amazon Stores, auditing AS gates on a regular cadence, and deprecating gates that do not meet the intended Customer experience objectives. Additionally, the team aims at maximizing total store business on gated brands, ensuring balance between CX & SX while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business and/or relevant field of study.
- 3+ years of Program Management, Category/Vendor management, Product Management, Finance, Analytics or Consulting roles with extensive quantitative analysis and stakeholder management involved.
- Core Program and Project Management skills (regular updates, Program flashes, data audits, review meetings, process audits)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate with cross functional teams (technical, business, legal)
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- MBA or advanced degree
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis tools
- Demonstrated experience in category management, customer experience management, brand management or vendor management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities
- Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
