The Advance Insights and Marketing Science team estimate the value of marketing activities, be that a TV, Radio, Search, YouTube or Facebook advert. We add colour to this by understanding groups of customers and their motivations through both behavioural and panel-based datasets. What did you buy, why did you buy it and how much did it cost to get you to pick our products or services. Overall, we ensure our clients realise the full potential of their marketing investment for maximum growth.
Role Overview:
The Senior Marketing Science Consultant is a senior member of the Marketing Science team who will bring experience delivering Analytics and in particular Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) solutions, attribution and other modelling approaches to clients. They will have a good understanding of the media and marketing industry. They will have a proven record of combining a creative approach to analytic problem solving with smart, technical know-how and polished project management / people skills
Working across multiple clients your day to day will be working on a number of areas:
- Managing and delivering marketing effectiveness projects, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality standards
- Consulting and engaging with clients, ranging from understanding their needs, to project delivery and upselling solutions
- Ensuring all outputs are technically excellent and address all client questions - including ones they may not have articulated fully
- Coaching, mentoring and line management of more junior team members, progressing their ongoing professional and technical development
- Building relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders across the agency and the group
- Contributing to the development of new solutions and analytical approaches that keep us on the cutting edge of marketing science
- Working with other senior team members to develop client new business proposals
Experience
- 4+ years delivering MMM and other marketing analytics projects
- Advanced understanding of Bayesian and linear regression approaches. Knowledge of machine learning wouldbe an advantage
- Significant experience in data and analysis and designing approaches to answer ad-hoc questions
- Good stakeholder and team management and exposure in a client facing environment
- Experience workings across multiple workstreams and projects
Skills
- Expert knowledge of MMM and other marketing effectiveness techniques (e.g. digital attribution, TV attribution)
- Strong presenter with the ability to tell engaging stories and explain analytical techniques to a non-technical audience
- Excellent team player and role model for other members of the team
- Adept client, team and project management skills
- Codingskills in either R or Python would be an advantage
- GoodExcel andPowerPoint skills
