Hays are working with a progressive specialist SEN School located in the heart of Leicestershire. The school provides inclusive education to students diagnosed with ASD and in receipt of EHCPs. The school is a small, close-knit allowing for ample opportunity for collaboration and progression.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Maths Teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' school on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject and helping students achieve their academic goals. This will include full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. Each student within the school has an EHCP so it is important that the curriculum is tailored to suit their needs.

Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in maths education.
