Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team in Belgium. This role focuses on managing large-scale construction projects in the Mechanical sector, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve issues proactively, and drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Monitor day-to-day activities on site, managing the flow of information and addressing issues related to progress, quality, and safety.
• Assist in the completion of handover plans, ensuring all documentation is completed and client expectations are met.
• Lead on-site, assess progress, and ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and contractor teams on snagging activities, including scheduling and partner engagement.
• Identify potential issues early and work with the project team to resolve them effectively.
• Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with the client to make improvements and revisions as needed.
• Ensure that project procedures are followed and strive for continual adherence to established protocols.
• Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, collaborate on solving challenges, and communicate project impacts to all stakeholders.
• Review proposed variations and delays in the works, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in the construction and data centre sector.
• A degree or equivalent experience in project management or a related construction discipline with a Mechanical bias.
• Project management professional certification (or a willingness to pursue one).
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
