MES Project Engineer - Ghent Region (20% International Travel) - Permanent Role

I am partnered with a leading provider of automation and robotics logistics solutions, delivering innovative technologies that optimize supply chain operations. They are looking for an experienced project engineer with experience in MES to take a lead role in CAPEX projects for their sites across the world.

Responsibilities:

• Lead MES-focused CAPEX projects for automation and robotics solutions at production sites around the world.
• Design, configure, and implement MES systems tailored to the specific needs of production sites, optimizing production workflows and ensuring seamless integration with robotics and automation equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for CAPEX MES projects across multiple production sites, managing communication and coordination between global teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in electromechanical engineering, automation or a related field.
• Strong background in automation engineering, with proven knowledge of PLCs & SCADA systems.
• Experience in MES & MES projects is a plus.
• Willingness to travel abroad for CAPEX projects.
• Fluency in Dutch/French & English required.
