Midday Meal Supervisor Wanted!

Location: SEMH Secondary All-Girls School, Camberwell, Lambeth, London
Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Discussed directly with the school

Are you a caring, reliable, and proactive individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Our SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) Secondary School for Girls in Camberwell is seeking a dedicated Midday Meal Supervisor to support students during their lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise students in the dining hall and other designated areas during lunchtime.
2. Ensure a safe, calm, and inclusive environment during meals and break times.
3. Encourage positive social interactions and appropriate mealtime behavior.
4. Support students with SEMH needs, ensuring their well-being and engagement.
5. Assist with the setup and clearing of dining areas.
6. Deal with minor incidents and support conflict resolution when needed.
7. Work closely with school staff to maintain a supportive lunchtime experience.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Someone with experience in schools or supporting vulnerable, SEMH students (desired but not essential).
2. A patient and compassionate individual who can build positive relationships with young people.
3. A team player who can work effectively with school staff to promote a nurturing environment.
4. Willingness to obtain (or already have) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
