Overview

We're looking for someone who's looking for something. Someone who's not quite content with where they are and what they've got. Someone who doesn't believe rules are absolute or good enough is good enough. We're looking for someone special. Maybe that someone is you? You will be a junior to midweight strategist ready to take the next step in your career. As well as your skills and experience, we'll look closely at what you bring to the role in terms of personality and style.

We're an energetic team, with a shared purpose to do outstanding work in health and wellness, and we are looking for fresh ideas and energy that will move the agency forward. The job requires collaboration, creativity and resilience; being there for your team when things get challenging is essential. You will also need to be good at the small things: attention to detail, self-management, completing timesheets and delivering on time, are all essential parts of being a great strategist.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day role will include leading, and supporting with, a wide range of strategy tasks:

  • Developing marketing, brand and creative strategies, often working within pharma and healthcare regulatory environments
  • Producing compelling and inspiring insights and briefs
  • Keeping the creative process on brief, providing strategic feedback to the creative team, and bringing the client stakeholders along the briefing and creative journey
  • Ensuring the voice of the audience, whether consumer, patient or healthcare professional, is at the heart of our work
  • Managing creative validation and concept testing processes
  • Collaborating with scientific strategists and writers, leveraging their insight and deep scientific understanding to build evidence-based strategy
  • Building tactical comms plans across media, understanding the differing roles of each touchpoint from print to social
  • Telling strategic stories, presenting to clients and internal teams with energy and persuasion
  • Workshop planning and facilitation (on and offline)
Qualifications

Your strategist T-shape will include some experience and understanding of:

  • Business strategy
  • Brand strategy and planning
  • Creative strategy
  • Comms planning
  • Paid media and advertising effectiveness
  • Brief development and briefing
  • Pitching and presenting

You will have a good knowledge of research and insights, including:

  • Using research and insight to identify brand challenges and opportunities
  • Qual and quant research methodologies and techniques
  • Interrogating third-party market research and business intelligence
  • Generate insights from digital and social media data
  • Audience segmentation
  • 'Day in the life' development and customer journey mapping
