As part of our UK growth strategy, we are looking to appoint a senior leader in our Mission Critical and Data Centre sector. We require a talented individual with domain knowledge and experience to establish us as a sector leader. It is likely that the successful individual will currently be undertaking a similar role in the Mission Critical sector but is looking for a new challenge and opportunity to make a significant contribution in a progressive and ambitious organisation.
As our sector leader you will shape, develop and implement our growth strategy in the sector, collaborating with likeminded individuals to create a world class multidisciplinary Mission Critical capability. The key element of the role is business growth, building relationships with new and existing clients, maximising client satisfaction and securing new opportunities to win and deliver AtkinsRéalis service lines. We seek innovative in service line delivery through the application and commercialisation of technology and AI and the successful candidate will enhance our current capabilities in this regard.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the UK's Mission Critical sector strategy for delivery excellence and growth.
- Develop and implement the sector's key account management plan.
- Build external networks and develop new and existing client relationships.
- Build a network of industry related supply chain partners.
- Raise AtkinsRéalis sector profile and reputation externally.
- Be the business' subject matter expert in the design of Mission Critical and data centre facilities.
- Provide governance and oversight of project performance in a Project Director capacity.
- Perform technical reviews of multi-discipline mission critical, data centre design packages.
- Interface with AtkinsRéalis Project Management and Cost Management delivery teams.
- Appoint key account managers, manage and provide guidance as key account director.
- Manage sector technical initiatives and investment judgement.
- Support oversee winning work as bid director.
- Proven Mentor in the Mission Critical, Data Centre or related sector.
- Degree qualified or equivalent qualification in a related Building or Building Services related discipline.
- Extensive experience in the Development, Real Estate or Building Design sector.
- Strong technical experience and commercial understanding of the mission critical and data centre sector across the full development lifecycle.
- Professionally qualified and membership of a professional institution.
- Experience and demonstrable track record in key account management and development of new business.
- Effective communication skills and a professional approach to clients and other AtkinsRéalis employees.
- Positive speaker at internal and external events.
- Demonstrable track record of building networks and winning work.
- Demonstrable leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire others.
- A good understanding of quality assurance, safety and environmental sustainability.
- Working knowledge of common forms of contract such as NEC, JCT etc.
