Job Description

Strong Group Recruitment are working on behalf of its client who are currently on the lookout for experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers for a mobile role across London.

Location: London
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Reporting to: Contract Supervisor
Requirement: NICEIC Test & Inspection Qualification

About Us

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join the team. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work across a variety of sites, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.

  • Complete thorough Site Visit Reports (SVRs) daily.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work.

  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships.

  • Support the Work Scheduling team to ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Provide 24-hour call-out cover as part of a rotation.

  • Manage small works projects and contribute to ongoing site improvements.

  • Step up to cover for the Supervisor when required.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • City & Guilds (or equivalent) Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification.

  • 2391 or equivalent Electrical Testing & Inspection qualification.

  • Strong understanding of safe systems of work, RAMS, and PTW procedures.

  • Basic knowledge of general building maintenance and plumbing/hot water systems.

  • Competent IT skills for reporting and scheduling.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • L8 Legionella Awareness Training.

  • Customer service experience in a client-facing role.

  • Strong leadership and commercial awareness.

The annual salary on offer for this role is between £43,000 - £45,000 per year depending on your experience.
