Modern Workplace Consultant

Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical architectures using Microsoft 365 best practices. Beyond technical execution, you'll play a key role in sharing expertise, guiding the team, and serving as the go-to expert for Microsoft 365 productivity tools.

You will report to the Head of Operations.


Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Technical Leadership

  • Lead solution design sessions, ensuring an optimal technical architecture.
  • Align technical solutions with broader strategic objectives.

Implementation & Configuration

  • Set up Intune and MDM solutions for secure device management.
  • Configure SharePoint environments based on the AGDLP principle.

Migrations & Integrations

  • Migrate on-premises Active Directory to Entra.
  • Plan and execute Exchange Online migrations.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement conditional access policies, including MFA and compliance-based device security.
  • Apply DLP/Sensitivity labels to ensure proper data protection.

Knowledge Sharing & Support

  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team.
  • Provide 3rd-line operational support for complex issues.
  • Assist with technical pre-sales, guiding solution proposals.
  • Document standard procedures to optimize project execution.
  • Develop structured onboarding & offboarding processes for users and devices.

Core Competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in IT and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Power Automate, Purview, Microsoft Defender, Security Portal, Copilot, and Azure.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Server, Print Server, GPOs).
  • Basic networking knowledge (preferably Cisco).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
  • Ability to clearly visualize and explain technical concepts.
  • Comfortable addressing challenges and providing practical solutions.
