Job Description
  • Work location: Nottingham or Sheffield, hybrid: 1 office day per week. The current team collaboration day is Wednesday.
  • Salary: Up to £45,000

Must be eligible for SC Clearance (Must have been a UK resident for the last 5 years).

About the Role:

As a Modern Workplace Engineer at Littlefish, you will be aligned with one or more of our key clients, providing support for Office 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, Purview, and Azure AD. This role focuses on managing the controls that govern and protect these environments rather than actual development skills. Clear, evidence-based thinking will be critical in investigating and resolving incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the escalation point for technical queries related to M365 and Power Platform, acting as a subject matter expert for Microsoft M365 Management (DLP, IRM, Guardrails).
  • Maintenance and Best Practices: Maintain client M365 environments in accordance with Microsoft best practices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Incident Management: Participate in end-user major incidents as a technical specialist, identifying automation opportunities and deploying automation solutions.
  • Project Involvement: Complete specific technical projects or onboarding of new customers, ensuring seamless transitions and integrations.
  • Ticket Resolution: Resolve tickets efficiently, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance.
  • Capability Development: Provide input into our M365 Management roadmaps, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
  • M365 management and AD administration experience.
  • Scripting skills, specifically PowerShell.
  • Proficiency in managing M365 and associated products (Office 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, Purview, and Azure AD).
  • Experience leveraging new Microsoft technologies released as part of their roadmap.
  • Experience working in an MSP or enterprise environment.
  • Application packaging, testing and deployment.
  • Windows OS application patch management.
  • 3rd line management of EUC estates.
