Job Description

  • Responsible for a portfolio of national high-street and grocery accounts
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Negotiating contracts, JBPs, promotions and closing agreements to maximise profits
  • Managing a portfolio of key accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure forecasts and promotions are all aligned
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Identifying and seizing new sales opportunities

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager across grocery and/or high street
  • Prior experience in FMCG
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics
  • Full, clean driving license
