NBSS Test Lead

Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare through technology? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Test Lead to join our team, supporting the UK's NHS National Breast Screening Services (NBSS).
As Test Lead, you will play a crucial role leading and coordinating testing teams in complex and legacy application testing environments, and be accountable for system integration, regression, and system testing for the NBSS.
You'll be ISEB or ISTQB qualified, with broad and deep experience in functional testing and understanding of end-to-end testing processes, with experience of ITSM tools like ServiceNow and ITIL delivery methodologies to successfully complete projects.
With exemplary customer service and communication skills, you'll be adept at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, end users, and third parties.
What you'll do:
- Develop and manage test plans, including scheduling, creation, publishing, and control, and own and manage test tools for NBSS service provision.
- Act as SME for NBSS testing and address process queries.
- Drive Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.
- Proactively manage the NBSS test team workstack, including incidents, service requests, problems, changes, RFCs, and releases.
- Attend required meetings and workshops, contributing to departmental goals and objectives.
- Conduct PACS (Picture Archiving Communication Systems) testing and provide remote or on-site support.
- At least 8 years of functional testing experience and a deep understanding of end-to-end testing processes.
- Expert knowledge of defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with InterSystems Cache, Crystal Reports, and VB6.
- Experience in Healthcare operations.
- Must have or a willingness to obtain SC Clearance.
