Job Description

The Role

Neighbourhood Manager

Southwark - up to £43,174 per annum

We are looking for a dynamic and community-driven manager to join our team in Southwark. In this role, you will work closely with the Management team to meet operational requirements, KPI's, and service level agreements, ensuring quality standards and contractual obligations are maintained. You'll place a strong focus on building relationships within the community and address environmental infractions and parking violations to help maintain the integrity and harmony of the neighbourhood.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Assistant Contract Manager in overseeing the smooth delivery of the contract, taking responsibility for operational duties.
  2. Monitor budgets, payroll, and supplies to ensure effective cost control.
  3. Foster relationships with local stakeholders including Residents Associations, Councillors, Police, and Business Owners to ensure a thriving and safe environment for all.
  4. Manage a team of Supervisors, providing coaching, training, and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  5. Ensure effective deployment of colleagues throughout the contract to guarantee contractual requirements are met.
  6. Identify and assist in the development of new business within the contract.

Who is the right candidate?

To succeed, you'll need to have a proven track record of successful team leadership; we are looking for candidates who will encourage passion and performance from their team.

  1. Min of 3 years strong leadership and people management experience within diverse teams.
  2. Commercial acumen with the ability to present to Management.
  3. Proficient in MS Office with experience in data collection and analysis.
  4. Experience in managing KPIs and preparing reports.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  6. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  7. Full, clean driving licence.
