Do you have a good understanding of the challenges associated with the transition from fossil fuels to net zero carbon heating and lighting solutions?
Can you work with church communities to support the transition of churches and associated buildings to net zero carbon, working across Leicester, Leicestershire, Peterborough, Rutland and Northamptonshire?
About the RoleThe dioceses of Leicester and Peterborough seek an addition to their net zero carbon team to support the work of the programme manager, bringing practical knowledge and experience to this priority area of work.
To make real both dioceses' ambitions of reaching net zero carbon in the quickest time possible, they jointly seek an outgoing individual who can provide and signpost to technical support and funding, enabling churches to reduce their carbon footprints.
The main place of work will be dependent on where the successful candidate lives.
