At XPLUS, we have over 100 consultants in a tight-knit community of architects and program managers. Our consultants work at the biggest clients on core programs. We value knowledge-sharing and collaboration very highly, so each consultant continues to develop. And when we're done working and learning, there's still room for some fun on the occasional get-together.

About the role

The role is a generalist Network architect & infrastructure architect. The scope is redefining the network.

You will work along with the client's internal Network Architect.

• Complete network landscape - Cloud (Azure primary, some AWS) and on-premise (with external supplier)
• Define the requirements for Cloud and also on-premise (external supplier)
• Discuss with external supplier (and other parties/vendors)
• Determine the network technologies needed

Who you are

You have minimum 5 years experience as Network & Infrastructure Architect and a proven track record of at least 10 years in IT within large organizations :

• You can work largely independently and drive forward the redesign (and implementation) of the hybrid client's network (Cloud and on-premise)
• Excellent interpersonal (soft) skills
• Up to date on all the zero-trust aspects of networking (ideally with a been there, done that experience of some of the products - to be able to quickly demonstrate value)
• Ability to work in a "less mature" organization
• Fluent in French &/or Dutch, + English
• Location: there are 2 sites located in Brussels (north & west Brussels), typically 2 days a week onsite (as needed for specific meetings )
