Network Engineer (GCP)

*Network Engineer - 12 months - Contract role - Hybrid - Germany.*

For our international client based in Germany RED is currently looking for a Network Engineer to start in a project.

The consultant is expected to start ASAP and for an initial 12 month contract.

The project is based in Munich, Germany and involves travels (up to 80%).

Desired skills:

• Design scalable, resilient network architectures for edge and cloud integration
• Configure and manage GCP networking components like VPCs and Cloud Routers
• Ensure seamless edge connectivity and data locality using technologies such as VPN and Cloud Interconnect
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot network performance across distributed locations
• Implement strong security measures - encryption, Firewalls, and access controls
• Fluency in English required; German is a plus
