Job Description

Network Engineer (Contract Position)
Reference: REQ-24934
Location: London (5 days onsite, plus one Saturday per month)
Contract Duration: 6 months

About the Role:
A London-based Network Engineering team is seeking a contractor to assist with an upcoming office relocation project. The successful candidate will support the current Network Engineer leading the move and also handle regular network engineering tasks outside of the relocation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support network infrastructure needs during a major office relocation.

  • Perform standard Network Engineering duties unrelated to the move.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.

  • Strong experience with IP Connectivity and Arista Switches.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.

  • Scripting skills in Ansible or Python.

  • Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in network engineering.

  • Background in financial services environments is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
