Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle service requests related to network operations.
  • Provide second-level incident response, escalating issues to vendors when necessary.
  • Participate in problem management, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support network service lifecycle management, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in designing and implementing new network services and solutions.
  • Manage configuration changes while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Design and deploy network management systems and operational tools by:
  • Defining architecture and evaluating market solutions.
  • Conducting proof of concepts and pre-production testing.
  • Implementing solutions for operations, including system migrations, operational procedure definitions, and task automation.
  • Developing and configuring custom tools such as web-based dashboards, databases, and automation scripts.
  • Assess and enhance operational quality and efficiency through defined metrics.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze network performance, proposing improvements to optimize quality and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in network operations within large-scale environments.
  • Strong knowledge of incident management, service requests, and problem resolution.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management in enterprise networks.
  • Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPNs, MPLS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with firewall policies and security best practices (Cisco ASA, Check Point, FortiGate).
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform is a plus).
  • Expertise in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve problems and drive service improvements.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Networks, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • A relevant networking certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, NSE4, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluent English (C Level) is required.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Hands-on experience with network automation tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or hybrid-cloud environments).
  • Understanding of container networking (Kubernetes, Docker).
