NTT DATA - Senior Java Developer / Team Lead

NTT Data is actively looking for a Senior Java developer. This freelance position is to start in July 2025. The mission is based in Brussels and homeworking is allowed.

Function

• Analysis, development and maintenance of the land on a new application aligned with the standards of the department.
• Coaching and leadership of the new small team (4 people) responsible for the application.
• Create the technical analysis of a completely new application (technical lead).
• Conduct the impact analysis.
• Collaborate with the application architect to determine the most suitable architecture for the domain.
• Coaching and supporting other developers: team lead of a new team to be formed.
• Adjust the existing scope.
• Refactoring the existing code if desired.
• Creating and executing the unit and component testing v.d. code.
• Manage v.d. placing in service v.d. new functionalities or updates.
• Collaborate with the application architect to determine the most suitable architecture for the domain.

Skills

• Java, Angular, front end development
• Tooling: Java Ecosystem, J2E stack, GIT, CI/CD dance Jenkins, IntelliJ, Opengrok, Miro, CI/CD techniques, Spring
• Methodology: Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Peering, Mobbing, ), TDD
• Mastering the behavioral competencies (in particular: team lead, technical lead, guiding junior developers)
• Knowledge and experience with the public services (and in particular the Pension context) are an advantage.
