Job Description
Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.
ESSENTIAL - Must have Moving and Handling experience, working with Adults in a community setting. CVs will not be considered otherwise.
Responsibilities:- Significant post-qualifying experience in an Occupational Therapy setting with experience of managing others and providing high standard of supervision.
- Experience of undertaking highly complex casework within a statutory adult setting.
- Experience of service delivery which is culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of a multi-cultural community.
- Experience of prioritisation, care planning and service delivery.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in assessing complex risk.
- Experience of interpreting, understanding and making judgements on the complex interactions between risk and protective factors in any given situation.
- High-level knowledge and skills in gathering information from a range of sources.
- Budgetary awareness.
- Strength-based approach.
- Make timely judgments and decisions based on evidence and thorough analysis of all information gathered.
- Support others to draw up specific support plans with clear timescales/outcomes based on high-quality assessments.
- Systematically monitor and review decisions and plans, advising where they need revising in light of new information.
- Knowledge of different methods of intervention and their effectiveness.
- Evidence of having undertaken and managed to completion a number of complex cases with a high level of conceptualisation of critical analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- ICT skills including use of Microsoft applications.
