Job Description

We are looking for a Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of large corporate buildings in London.

The role of Cleaning Operations Manager would suit a people-focused leader who is passionate about motivating teams, building strong relationships, and ensuring high-specification cleaning standards are consistently achieved. You'll be the main point of contact for the client and help deliver exceptional service every day.

This position sits within our Portfolio division, a specialist cleaning service designed for professional workplaces where the look and feel of the environment directly impacts employee well-being, productivity, and brand perception.

As a Cleaning Operations Manager, you'll be:
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Leading and supporting your team to deliver exceptional service consistently.
  • Carrying out audits, preparing reports, and delivering projects in collaboration with the Regional Director.
  • Organising regular meetings with clients to review contract performance and specifications.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to improve services, drive efficiencies, and add value for clients.
As a Cleaning Operations Manager, you'll have:
  • Strong people management skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience working in a client-facing environment.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to plan ahead, stay calm under pressure, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, and contract performance monitoring.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
  • Previous experience working with commercial clients (preferred but not essential).
