Who are we looking for?
The Outbound Retention Specialist works independently and is primarily responsible for promoting the retention of policies in a call-center environment. This role consistently leverages our brand and commitment to creating a positive member experience.
ResponsibilitiesHow will you contribute?
- Responsible for making outbound calls to conduct annual reviews with existing customers and performing a policy review to ensure the coverage is adequate to meet their current needs.
- Identifies sales opportunities based on life events and forwards them to the appropriate sales team for follow-up.
- Responds to all callback requests from AAA Life Policy Holders within the established timeline.
- Follows internal processing procedures to ensure that all transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conducts outbound retention calls as assigned to assist customers in keeping their coverage current or to offer a consultation with a Sales Agent.
- Provides technical and product information in response to the customer's changing life events, promoting the sale of AAA Life products.
- Assists management with the research and completion of special projects.
- Successfully completes the appropriate training on all relevant AAA Life products and services.
What do you offer?
- High School diploma or GED required; some college-level coursework preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the life insurance industry.
- Basic knowledge of AAA Life Insurance Products.
- Successful completion of the following LOMA Courses, preferred:
- LOMA 280 or LOMA 281 - Insurance Principles.
- LOMA 290 or LOMA 291 - Insurance Operations.
- Current license to sell life insurance and the ability to maintain any Life and Health insurance sales license in all applicable states, preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including possible evenings and weekends, including the willingness to work overtime and weekends as business dictates.
